I had a look at the key points and to me it seems like a good plan.

"I hope you bleed ... (get) cancer and die,"
What a stupid thing to say. Really kinda shows the mentality of the people against it.

I really don't understand people who are against it.

I love the NHS.

theres a really weird thing about this bill

exact figures may be wrong as im a bit pissed but

it compels health insurance companies to pay for treatment but

if the treatment is say 200 dollars a month and patient cant afford it the insurance company has to pay it, or if it doesnt has to pay a fine of 50 dollars a month, so which will they do...

as i say those figures are random but its still stacked against the patient so it means nothing

anyhoo that was a lionel shriver thing i read - go read her books, they're great

i saw Lionel Shriver on The Book Show a couple of weeks ago, and she was talking about all that (cos of the book inspired by her friend with cancer), but i still couldn't bring myself to order it as I can't stand we Need To Talk About Kevin!!!
